Leonora winner of "Karrierekanonen 2009" (published 19 May 2009)
We are proud to announce that Leonora has won Karrierekanonen 2009, which means massive airplay and media-attention during 2009, in Denmark. You can experience Leonora with her fantastic liveband, Gasblaa, at the Spotfestival in Aarhus this upcoming Saturday (the 23rd of May).

Karrierekanonen is a massive competition in Denmark by KODA, Roskilde Festival and P3 (greatest national radio). The Duo Music produced/co-written artist Leonora, managed to win the first round of Karriekanonen, competing against 900 other bands (1800 tracks). Now Leonora is in the final, and if she wins she will get massive airplay/PR during the summer... We will know the result in a few days from now on. So no need to tell you that we are keeping our fingers crossed at the moment.
Flower Butterfly for Jolin Tsai, produced by Duo Music (published 23 Apr 2009)
Duo Music has produced the title track and upcoming single for one of asias best selling artists, Jolin Tsai. The Duo Music produced track is called Flower Butterfly, and is penned by David Clewett (LaCarr Music Production AB). According to g-music Taiwan, the album accounted for 37% of all album sales in Taiwan and a whopping 68% of Chinese music sales in Taiwan in its first week. Her sales were seven times the sales of her closest competitor, Japanese diva Ayumi Hamasaki's tenth studio album NEXT LEVEL. So far in 2009, Butterfly Jolin has the largest first-week sales of any artist. Its first week-sales are also greater than the first-week sales of last year's best-selling album, Poetry of the Day After... by Taiwanese band Mayday.

Duo Music is a recording studio and a production company located in Denmark. DM is writing and producing for several artists around the globe, and specializes in productions that will fit the artist they work with. From RnB to pop and dancehall, Duo Music is what you need. DM is building a bridge between the musicians, and the record companies. The record companies receive numerous demos from hopeful artists every week, which means that a lot of talent will never get the chance to blow up. We believe that working with artists and developing their sound and brand over a long period of time before contacting the majors, is the key to a succesful career.
